It was 2014 and it was the night of my twenty-fifth birthday. I remember laying in bed thinking of all the things I always thought I would be by then all the while realizing they weren't there. That next morning I made my way to the store and bought some poster board, markers and some glue and spent that next week thinking of my hopes and dreams for the future which eventually made my first ever dream board. Up until then I had always lived my life according to what I thought was safe and secure. That night I made the brave decision to knock down those walls and I gave myself the permission to live my dreams. Out loud. I was a girl, I was twenty five and I had a dream. And that was all it took.
For
the first time in my life I chased after my dreams with wild and ferocious
abandon and it resulted in taking a risk I am actually proud of. I now believe wholeheartedly in living a life
less ordinary. That life isn’t always
pretty, but it is always remarkably beautiful.
I wake up each morning, take a deep breath, and realize in that moment
have the best job in the world. I
document love. And I would love more
than anything to document your love story.
Though my studio and home are located on Vancouver Island, I love to travel and dig my feet in new soil. My
